Watch Your Priorities ✈️ (YouTuber Crashes Plane)

Thoughts on keeping your priorities in order.

Watch your priorities.

Hi I’m Brian Pombo, welcome back to Brian J. Pombo Live.

I just saw this article about YouTuber that crashed his plane trying to get some views. This is one of those issues where priorities really make a big difference.

I’m a Business Investor, for those of you who don’t know, and I work with a lot of different businesses in different industries. But what I come across is a lot of similar problems regardless of what industry, regardless of what type of business that you’re running.

Here’s what I’m getting from this news story.

Whether it’s true or not, I haven’t read into all the details. But what ends up happening is when a person is looking for attention, more than they’re thinking about what they’re going to do with that attention, they end up getting into a lot of trouble.

It’s really easy to get caught up in that loop of saying, well, we need is more views, we need more attention we need. Yes, you need to stand out, I wrote a whole book about standing out, 9 Ways to Amazon-Proof Your Business, and how to make yourself completely stand out and be different from your competitors. In fact, you get a free copy at AmazonProofBook.com.

But if you put that ahead of everything else, and you don’t have a game plan beyond that, if your whole game is nothing, but making noise and standing out and getting attention for today.

But you don’t have a plan for tomorrow, or how to take the people that are viewing you today because of some outrageous stunt, how to convert them over to something else, then your whole focus is on how to be more and more outrageous, how to be crazier and crazier.

I’m all for being outrageous and crazy. That’s good stuff.

It’s important to get to make yourself stand out but there’s a limit to it.

If you’re focused on just making yourself outdoing yourself and becoming crazier and more outrageous. There’s a burnout period to that eventually, it’s very common among YouTubers, people on any type of visual video media, whether Instagram, Tik Tok any of these places.

If you’re constantly trying to outdo yourself, if that’s your only game, then you’re going to run out of steam eventually, or you’re going to end up doing something stupid that get you to put into jail or kicked off of your platform, or something of that sort.

This happens across the business in that the business owner tends to get focus overly focused in one area or gets splattered all over the place in a million different areas.

And just pays attention to anything that excites them at that moment, as opposed to making sure that all the areas are covered properly. I was having a conversation with some really close friends that are with one of the clients that I work with.

They’re having this issue, it’s an ongoing issue with the organization that they work at.

And this is common across the board. It’s something you got to watch for yourself, if you are the executive, if you’re the business owner, if you’re one of the people in charge, this is a huge thing you have to watch for and you have to ask for help.

You have to ask for help from the people you work with.

You may have to ask for help for people outside of where you work with is one of the things that I’ll go in with companies and try and see it from the business owners’ perspective.

But also be willing to see from everyone else’s perspective and see if this is happening. If priorities are not being organized properly and looked back at on a regular basis, you will get into the situation where you crash your plane. And it’s not a happy situation.

It’s not a great scenario.

I’s something you really got to watch out for because it’ll not only bring your business down it may bring other people down in the process.

So hopefully that makes sense. We’ll be back tomorrow. I’ll be talking again don’t forget about my book, 9 Ways Amazon-Proof Your Business. AmazonProofBook.com.

We’ll be back. In the meantime, get out there and let the magic happen.

Do YouTube views matter?

Hi I’m Brian Pombo, welcome back to Brian J. Pombo Live.

Today I’ve got a really good comment from two days ago from the YouTuber known as Stick Quotes.

And Stick Quotes says, Why you videos so less a viewer?

And this is a question I asked myself often, why me videos so less of viewer?

And the answer may surprise you. It really comes from intent.

I want to be serious about this, okay?

It really does come from intent. If I wanted more viewers, I actually know how to get more viewers.

And the quickest way I’ll tell you just straight off if you’re honestly looking for more viewers, which I don’t think you should necessarily be. But if you are looking for more viewers, if you’re looking to just get those numbers up, there are two major ways of doing it.

One is the straightforward way, which is to pay YouTube to show it to more people. And specifically, I would highly recommend showing it to the right type of people, the people that are going to matter more to a larger goal that you’re after, rather than just more viewers.

But there’s the sideways way, which is to pay companies to put your video in front of viewers, specific viewers, to get your views up.

That way is a little bit iffy. As far as YouTube is concerned, I’ve never done it. There’s a whole movie basically about it called, Fake Famous, which I did a video all about which you can watch, I’ll include a link.

If you don’t see that link, you can always go to my website type in fake famous, that’s BrianJPombo.com. You type that in and you’ll find my review of that. That really good documentary.

But aside from that, I highly recommend that you not make the number of views your goal. And with that, you may end up with a lot of views.

But it’s going to be a side goal, it’s not going to be the main goal, the main goal, you have to determine what that is. It shouldn’t be view-related because, well, unless you’re merely looking for a one-time source of income via YouTube, which you might be the only reason why I would ever recommend you going for views.

Even in that case, I wouldn’t say that views are going to be your best bet your probably subscribers are going to be your best bet. But even then I wouldn’t recommend you put that as a goal to just run off of YouTube.

Because you’re completely putting your entire future in the hands of one company to determine at any time whether they feel like it or not, without needing to tell you why they can get rid of you.

They can wipe you off the YouTube map. It’s not just YouTube, it’s any social media outlet that you’re looking to become the king or queen of not something I recommend making that your goal.

I’d recommend setting up a side business that can use YouTube as a source for viewers that can use YouTube as a source of customers that can use any social media to be able to reach the type of person, your ideal person to reach them.

And then viewers if they grow great. What matters is Who are those viewers and what are they doing because they’re viewing you.

Now, I don’t have a lot of viewers elite currently, you can go and look at my most popular posts. And my most popular viewer-viewed videos are relatively low in general, my number of subscribers is relatively low in terms of a person that does YouTube as regularly as I do.

But like I said, it’s not the point of what I’m trying to do.

What is the point of what I’m trying to do?

I’ve talked about that quite a bit here too but I’ll review.

What I’m attempting to do is basically present my viewpoint on things when it comes to business, my business philosophy, my life philosophy kind of intertwined within that. And through doing that, allowing people to get to know me without me being on the phone or a Zoom call or in-person with somebody.

The type of audience I’m after is a very tiny audience, to begin with. And if that’s the only people viewing my material great, that’s all I care about.

But the main point is, I don’t care if there’s a single view on it, as long as it’s available for when the right person comes along, and they want to find out more about me. They can type it into Google and see all these videos here, all these podcasts, view any information or read anything that they want to know about where I come from, and what I’m about because that’s I have a business, it’s very much centered around me, hence, BrianJPombo.com.

You could say that’s extremely selfish, everything else, it’s actually a security item within how I run my business, is I make sure that it’s very much centered around me now I have other forms of businesses on the side that are not centered around this personality.

But this is a very useful tool for my business investment side. So I’m happy to have you along for the ride. Thank you very much for the question.

If you have a follow-up question, or if anyone else out there has a follow-up question regarding YouTube views and whether you should actually be going after them or not, leave me a comment wherever you’re watching or listening to this.

If you don’t have a place to be able to do that. Go over to BrianJPombo.com leave a comment, leave a question. I love to hear from you.

What do you think about what I have to say?

And what do you think, you know, and tell me and let’s have a whole back and forth? The best people who really want to have a conversation, reach out to me, I’d love to have you on the show and have a conversation about business and how it relates to you and life and where we’re all going with this whole darn thing, right? Hopefully, that makes sense. I got a book that I promote every single show and I’m going to promote this time too, 9 Ways to Amazon-Proof Your Business.

If you’re looking to beat make your business completely competition-proof. You’re going to want to check out this book. It’s small. It’s a quick read and you can get a free copy at AmazonProofBook.com.

We’ll be back tomorrow. So come on back then. In the meantime, get out there and let the magic happen.

Boost Your YouTube: Tip 5

Look back at Brian’s video – Self Reliance Is Fake

Boost Your YouTube, Tip Number 5.

Hi I’m Brian Pombo, welcome back to Brian J. Pombo Live.

When I’m holding up here is currently my most watched video on YouTube. It is nearly two years old. It was back when I was in the orange office, you can if you go far back enough and watch the old, old episodes, you can see those taken in the orange office, I’m sitting there with my son, Lucas.

You can go back and watch this video, the name of the video is, Self Reliance Is Fake.

It’s not a great video. But there’s something about it, what gets people to click on videos. And there’s a there’s a few things here that I can point to. This is an odd one, I’m going to go through all the details of why I think this one has gotten through.

It’s probably not what you think, first off, the title I have on this self reliance is fake. Now, it’s not that I’m tying, that I’m tearing down the concept of self reliance.

But I’m being very specific, I’m using a very provocative title to pull people in so that I can go about up about talking about self reliance and how there’s really a great misconception over what the term means.

That’s what I’m really talking about there. But that saying that something is fake, especially two years ago, that was really still a very hot term, really made popular by the president of that time.

It was one of those things that everyone was tossing around, is this fake? Is this real is this fake, fake news, all that type of thing. And so I played along with that, and calling in calling self reliance is fake. It’s also self reliance is one of those things, especially in America, in the United States of America, where we don’t oftentimes tear down that term, it’s it has very positive connotations within America in general, and I wasn’t tearing it down.

But at the same end, I was playing with the emotions there with that title, you can have a provocative title, something that is counterintuitive, or something that says well, I wonder why he or she thinks that.

If you can have a title like that, a headline like that, it’ll pull people in, whether it be a video on YouTube, or an article somewhere or a blog post, it’s the same thing that headline can truly pull people in.

Now this cover image, there’s nothing special about it, there’s nothing written on it. The one thing that’s a little different from my other videos is I’ve got my little kid sitting there. And he’s a little he’s a little under the age of one there actually, he’s he’s hardly more than a few months old there.

He was a little guy, even for his age use very much what we used to call peanut. He’s just a little tiny guy. And he’s sitting there making noises as I’m as I’m talking. And I’m comparing the situation with being a parent versus being a child in how self reliance plays into that. So that’s kind of why he was there.

It was also one of the situations where I was just trying something different in my videos by having one of my kids with me, which I’ve have numerous videos where kids and with me, but for some reason, this one hit a chord. The interesting thing about this one, it did not take off right away.

This took probably a good year before I started seeing play off of it, and then all of a sudden started getting a few comments. Then also a whole bunch of thumbs down.

I got a lot more thumbs up, but most of my posts, but got thumbs down out of nowhere, this thing’s got 36 thumbs down on it, which is pretty high for my videos, my videos tend to not be too controversial. And I tend to not pull in people that would put a thumbs down on my videos even if they thought so.

I think here’s, here’s what I believe and I have not been able to prove this. I think this video was picked up by somebody, possibly in a Facebook, private Facebook group, or a Reddit thread, thread somewhere.

It ended up somewhere that I’ve haven’t been able to find, but it ended up somewhere and everyone started making noise about it, which caused a whole lot of people to go and look at it, which caused a whole lot of people to have negative input on it.

I have a few somewhat negative comments on it about two that could be possibly negative. Although I tried when I tried conversating back and forth. I really wasn’t able to get much back one of them was just kind of cryptic, I’m not quite sure what he’s trying to say. And you could check out the video too, if you’re interested.

But it’s one of those things where I still don’t know why it’s gained popularity, but I think it had enough up that the conjecture is based on my understanding of YouTube’s algorithm, I think it got enough attention over a short period of time, me that really, after a year, it was already out that YouTube said, this is something that people want to see, because they’re interacting with it, even if they’re interacting negatively with it, they are still interacting with that.

I think they’ve started to put it in into certain searches and put it out there to where people are seeing it. Now, they don’t do that with all videos. If you think you put a video out on YouTube, you think it’s automatically going to start popping up in searches, and show up and all the normal places where you see YouTube’s just spontaneously pop up where the videos pop up, you’re mistaken, it’s probably not going to happen.

It takes a lot to break through that they’ve got algorithms that decide what comes in what goes based on popularity based on engagement.

I think this one was engaged enough that it’s pop through to another level in the algorithm to where YouTube is feeding it to people, because it has been constantly going up on a monthly basis for a while now.

Just kind of interesting. And you’re going to have that when it comes to YouTube, the one thing I found is it’s extremely unpredictable, there are certain things you can predict, there’s certain things you can, you can maneuver to get more attention. But this is one of those things that I have not tried to do with this show.

This is a show that’s being put out in multiple formats. YouTube has only one of them is being put out via podcast, I just found out recently, we were missing off of a couple of major podcast players.

So we made sure we put ourselves back out there. But we’ve got the audio going over podcast Hi, everybody that’s listening to this. We all have video going out over YouTube, but also a number of other video resources, platforms.

So this is how it is for me, these are just accidental things that I fell upon within the platform of YouTube. If If I were really you want to get a really good tip, I’ll tell you, the people who I’ve seen do the best on YouTube.

I’ve worked with people that, that that work in YouTube and have done well with YouTube. And I have clients that get 1000s and 1000s, 1000s of more views than I ever got on my best video.

There’s one thing they do across the board that is extremely useful. And that is teaming up with other people who are on YouTube. Even if those people have a small audience, if you can get into their audience and let them know that you also have a YouTube and they’re the type of audience that would jump over to yours, especially if they’re ideal if they’re your ideal audience.

Or if you can interview people who have other YouTube channels, they are going to come look at it on yours and they may stay and subscribe Do you have a chance of that happening, then watching one of your videos has the chance of more of your videos popping up over and over and over again.

Just getting out there and putting your videos across other places, especially if you’re focused on really growing a YouTube channel, then you got to take that YouTube embed, you take that link, and you post it over every social media.

It’s not what I do. In most cases, I am uploading it directly to each social media, Facebook, LinkedIn, we’re doing it natively on each of those platforms. And we’re not necessarily using YouTube.

We are I believe we’re sending YouTube out on Twitter and a couple other places. But for the most part, we keep everything specific to the platform. And so that’s one of the reasons and I haven’t my goal hasn’t been to grow YouTube.

So I haven’t grown, you can grow it. There’s a lot of pros out there. Just keep looking out there for other stuff. And I got a million more tips on how you can grow YouTube. But you don’t want to listen to it from a person that hasn’t done it to the extent that you want to go if you really want to get good at growing YouTube, find out some from some of the experts out there.

I could tell you more than the psychology how people work to where it would work either on YouTube or any other platform. If you’re out to get eyeballs and how to stand out in general.

Then I’m going to suggest to you my book, 9 Ways to Amazon-Proof Your Business. You get a free copy over at AmazonProofBook.com Hey, we’ll be back here tomorrow night. In the meantime, you get out there and let the magic happen.

Boost Your YouTube: Tip 3.

Hi I’m Brian Pombo, welcome back to Brian J. Pombo Live.

I have my whiteboard here with a whole bunch of numbers that have nothing to do with anything. In fact, I don’t remember what these are reference to, you have to go back and watch my videos. I haven’t erased it yet, but this has something to do with today’s YouTube tip.

Regarding this is, let me see this. I think there’s my top three highest viewed video currently in 2021. And the title of this video is, 5 Excruciating Steps to Become a Business Strategist.

So this was from last year or close to a year ago, I don’t have the exact date in front of me. It just says one year when it comes to YouTube, sometimes that can be fudged a little and the picture has me with a whiteboard.

One thing I have noticed, which is odd. And it’s also funny that I haven’t tried it out more often is, if I have a whiteboard on the YouTube cover with something written on it, I tend to get more views on those.

I don’t know if it’s a coincidence, I don’t know if it draws people in, I really am not certain if that’s true or not.

One thing I am certain of is videos with numbers in them tend to pull people in, especially if the number signifies something interesting to the people that are viewing.

So if it’s a topic and I number it, and I have the actual digit in the title that does pull people in, that is a and it’s not just with YouTube videos. That’s very common with articles, if you’re doing blog articles, anything and that goes back into the something having to do with the human psyche. I think I’ve read about it in the past.

But it’s very known to anybody that writes headlines, and does copywriting. That if you put numbers somewhere in the title, it pulls it draws the attention and pulls people in because they want to say, well, what is that?

What does this number signify?

It automatically pulls out the mathematical side or what have you. And you’re going okay, what five, you know, and it’s called 5 Excruciating Steps, I purposefully used an awkward word in there, that kind of forces a person to have to read it and it’s not a common word.

It’s all in reference to being a business strategist, which really doesn’t have that much pool in general. And so I was surprised by how well this one did I base it mainly off of the number, there might be something else in it, that is pulling people in this is one of the ones that a lot of my earlier videos, I made sure they all had captions in them, the closed caption for the hearing impaired or what have you.

Or if people just like to read along, it has the captions captions can pull in search unto themselves, because it is included somewhere within the algorithm. Every all the words that you speak yes, YouTube is listening to you whether you have captions or not.

But if you have captions installed it, it will be listening to what’s been typed out. So if you’ve had it transcribed, your video transcribed, and you put it out there, and you made sure that it’s actually worded correctly,

YouTube will catch some of the things you’re saying and they will become searchable. I have seen this done through time. So I know what’s the case, I know it’s built into the algorithm, at least it has been in the past, anything could change in a time, they can always go in and switch things around. But it has helped with ranks.

So there may be something that I’m saying that is has gotten me into some form of search or at one time got me into one particular search that got more people watching this, although this is one.

This video has consistently gotten views, not not 1000s millions of views, but it has gotten in comparison to the rest of my site, relatively consistent views, and tell you the truth. I’m not certain why but I think that the title has something to do with it. Hopefully that’s helpful to you.

This is tip number three tomorrow, I’m going to come to you with tip number four. And we’re going to go through we’re going up the line and going into some my most popular videos and why I think they’re popular. All these tips all fall back into each other.

The reasons why these have gotten so many views are common. And you’ll see that on some of these others that we’re going to be looking at. So we’ll be back here tomorrow with more of that if you’d like more tips on how to organize your business so that you’re not dependent on on YouTube, and all these funky algorithms and large companies that are probably going to kick you off for saying the wrong thing, then go check out nine ways to Amazon proof your business.

It’s not just about making it Amazon Proof, and this is before a lot of a lot of the controversy about Amazon kicking people off their platform. Amazon has control over a certain sector of the internet. Google has a certain amount of control, Google has control over YouTube.

These large companies have control and you have to realize you don’t want to be dependent on them, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t find out how to work with them, and to use their algorithms to your favor. But if you really want to be outside of that whole realm, and to make yourself Amazon Proof, Google Proof, YouTube Proof.

Look back at Brian’s video – Undercover Billionaire Secret Lesson #1

Boost Your YouTube: Tip 2.

Hi I’m Brian Pombo, welcome back to Brian J. Pombo Live.

I’m holding here, my wife’s old iPhone and it’s got a picture of the screen cap from us the first video in a series of videos that I did. This is the Undercover Billionaire Secrets, number 1.

There was it was a series of videos that I did. And there’s a reason why this is the fifth most most watched video on my channel right now.

Here’s the reason number one, it fits tip number one from yesterday that we talked about, which was newsworthy, okay, this is a show that’s on TV on the Discovery Channel that’s very popular called, Undercover Billionaire.

In fact, they came out with a second season and when they came out with that second season, I saw an uptick on these videos. And all it is me just giving, what I saw is the strategic lessons from the show that a person can use in their business.

But I use the title as a way to bring people in and to be able to discuss the lessons on the show. So this brought him in for sure, based off that. But here’s another extra tip of reason why this does well, it’s part of a playlist.

Playlists, is when you take a bunch of videos on YouTube and you string them all together, and they don’t all have to be your video, they can be other people’s videos too.

You string them all together, and you put them in whatever order you want and you give them a title. That playlist has the ability to be found via YouTube search engine, the well YouTube search, and also Google search.

It has the ability to stand on its own. I have some playlists that do much better than my even my own videos, because I’ve gotten other people’s videos in there and so it’s an interesting thing.

It just me experimenting and playing around with it to see what happens. So that’s what this is. This is a series of videos all placed together, the first one gets the most hits, as you would imagine any playlist usually the first video is going to get most of the attention, especially if that playlist gets any play whatsoever.

If you’ve got that playlist, you got to make sure it’s set to public so that everybody can see the playlist. And of course, you can have private ones for yourself. But that’s the second tip for how to boost your YouTube. This is a series that I’m doing itself.

In fact, you might be watching this on a playlist. Okay, this is a playlist of YouTube tips on how you can be able to to grow with YouTube.

It’s not that I’m saying you should grow with YouTube or that you should use YouTube at all in terms of business. But this is a business growth show. And we talk about how to use each of these things both tactically and strategically.

If you want more of a broader vision, make sure and subscribe and come back on a regular basis and watch this or you could check out back episodes over at BrianJPombo.com. And while you’re at it, you really want to get a full vision for making a really major change in your business.

Go check out my book, 9 Ways to Amazon-Proof Your Business. You get your own free copy at AmazonProofBook.com.

We’ll be back here tomorrow night with tip number three. And Meantime, get out there and let the magic happen.

Look back at Brian’s video – Dan Kennedy – Life Changers

Boost Your YouTube: Tip 1.

Hi I’m Brian Pombo, welcome back to Brian J. Pombo Live.

Today we’re going to be discussing how to boost your YouTube views. And this is part of a series, this is the first one out of the series. What I’m holding here is my wife’s old iPhone that happens to have a picture of my sixth, my currently sixth most popular video on this channel. We’ve been doing this show…almost 700 episodes, are well over 600 episodes that we’ve put out.

And during that time, along with a handful of videos from years past, I’ve kind of accumulated a handful of videos that have stood out and have gotten some attention.

This particular one is kind of interesting and I’ve got a link in the description to this one.

This is called, Dan Kennedy the life changer.

So why would this one be the sixth most popular one on my site? And I’m not by far no, in no means a huge numbers. I’m we’re not talking about that you go and look at the popularity on YouTube at this point. It’s not very high.

But in comparison to all the other videos that I have out there, it’s relatively higher.

So what would make this one roll? It’s not that far, it’s not that tough to really see why this one has done well. Because it doesn’t do as well now as it did when it first came out.

So a couple and I forgot to look at the date. So this was a year ago. So last year, there was a situation where Dan Kennedy was thought to be on his final days, okay, he was being put into hospice, he had gone into diabetic shock and all this stuff, people thought he was going to die.

Many people had already speculated that they thought he was already dead. And this was just, it was probably within the 24 hour period just after this broke that I put out this video because it hit me really hard.

I put a very impassioned basically testimonial to Dan Kennedy and his life and how it has it had touched me you can go and watch it. It’s but it doesn’t matter as much now because Dan Kennedy survived, ended up getting out of hospice and and has gone on and he’s slowly worked his way back to health.

But this was well over a year ago, close to two years ago, I think. Because you can see I’m still in the the orange office. And for those of you who are old viewers, you remember the orange office. And we have been there for a while. This was a this was a fun video to make. But I’ll tell you why it did so well.

Why did so well is this was fresh news and I was one of the first ones to start talking about it out there. So when it started hitting people were doing searches.

They were doing searches for Dan Kennedy on YouTube, they were doing searches for Dan Kennedy, is he still alive? And I think the fact that I call it life changer accidentally, I think the life word is pulling some rank, because people were wondering whether he’s alive or whether he’s dead, and is he still alive, and so on, so forth.

That happened for really the next six months. But right away, got a huge bump in views on that one video. And because of that, it continues to get views over time. Every month, it gets a handful of views and so that’s why that one did so well.

So if you’re able to take that idea, if you’re putting out videos on a regular basis, and you want to get some attention. Now, this does not only have to do with YouTube, I’m using YouTube as an example. Get something newsworthy, get something that everybody is talking about thinking about and typing in.

If you’re able to do that in the right time, and the right and you’re just in the right space, you might be able to catch a little bit of vriality off of that video, you might be able to get some more intention. Not that I did it for that purpose. But because I did it. I can see in retrospect how well it did.

I’ve had a handful of videos that have done well because you’re entering the conversation that’s already going on in the customers mind or in the viewers mind in this situation. So we’ve got more I’m going to go through the rest of some my highest watched videos and kind of guess based on that how well they did.

Want to go viral on YouTube?

Hi I’m Brian Pombo, welcome back to Brian J. Pombo Live.

I’ve got a few things to say about going viral on YouTube. And this is really the introductory video to a series of videos that I’m going to be doing all on my experiences with YouTube.

So I do not make videos with the intention of getting bought going viral, or even getting 1000s upon 1000s of views is not really what I’m after or millions of views. Hey, I’ll take it if it comes but it’s not what I’m going for.

The crowd that I’m going after tends to be business owners and executives of medium sized to larger companies. And so it tends to be kind of the group I I focus on, and the type of information I like to disseminate and everything else here.

So going viral on YouTube doesn’t mean a whole lot when you’re doing something of that sort, especially with the rest of the plan that follows this podcast.

So what you’re watching or listening to right now is a podcast, it’s put out the audio was put out via the typical places that you listen to podcasts. So Brian J. Pombo Live, and the video is put out on typical places for videos, you’ve got YouTube, you’ve got a whole bunch of the other video sites and social media.

And so you’re watching this somewhere there, or you’re listening to it somewhere out there. And that’s how I reach most of my people. And even beyond that, the blog that I put out at BrianJPombo.com, tends to be the main place where I’m trying to drive people or trying to get attention to.

And if all else fails, really, I’m trying to promote whatever I’m trying to promote that day.

So today, what I’m promoting my book, it’s, 9 Ways to Amazon-Proof Your Business.

9 Ways to Amazon-Proof Your Business. If you’re looking to be able to really beat out the competition and stand out in your marketplace like nobody else possibly can, then you’re going to need this book.

It’s a quick read, it’s short, it’s easy and it’s free.

Honestly, you can go and buy it on Amazon if you want. If you want a nice hard copy, it’s a hard bound copy. Or you can go to AmazonProofBook.com and get a free copy. You see, I promote that book or something else, nearly every single podcast that I put out.

So I’m always doing something of that sort. I don’t need huge crowds. When I’m looking for a very particular type of people to watch this and engage in some some fashion, go to the website, leave a comment, have a little conversation back and forth, or go check out the book, which allows me to engage further with people.

So getting on to YouTube and going viral, you really have to ask yourself whether that’s something you really want to do or not.

Are you just looking to become popular? Are you just looking to be a flash in the pan? Are you just looking to make an income off of YouTube?

These are all things questions you have to ask yourself and I I mentioned the movie Fake Famous that just recently came out over on HBO, that’s worth watching. Because it kind of get it. It asks those questions without asking those questions.

And it definitely doesn’t look at it from a business perspective. But if you can read past in between the lines of that movie, and other things like it, you can kind of start questioning your motives and what you’re really looking to get now.

If you are looking for attention, and you want to use YouTube, as one of the pieces of that I’m going to show you how to go about doing that. I’ve got about five top videos that I’m going to probably go through five of my own, that have done well on YouTube and kind of discuss why I think they’ve done well.

And I think the answers may surprise you. In reality, having something go viral is an accident. That’s why it’s called viral. It’s not a purposeful thing, you can get something to be popular, you can get a lot of views purposefully on YouTube. But having something go organically viral without any push on your end, just because the subject matter, the thumbnail, or the title of it, or a combination of those three.

It’s possible something tends to do that. But it’s not usually something that you can organize from the very beginning but you can make it go viral within your own community. I’m going to be talking about that over the next few videos. So stay tuned if you’re watching this later.

Then march of 2021, then I’m going to have these all put into a playlist over on YouTube. You can watch them all in a row or listen to them via podcast because they’re going to be one right after the other. This is a whole series on going viral on YouTube, even though I’m not suggesting that you go viral on YouTube.

So little trick in there and all throughout the way we’re going to be talking about business strategy. So hopefully all this is going to be helpful to you. I’ll be back here tomorrow night with kind of my first tip and you have a great night. In the meantime, get out there and let the magic happen.
