Undercover Billionaire secret lesson #10.

Hi, I’m Brian Pombo welcome back to Brian J. Pombo Live and today we’re dealing with the Undercover Billionaire secret lesson number 10.

So we already did one through nine. If you want to see those, go to BrianJPombo.com and check that out.

You can also check out out those right here, more than likely you’ll be able to see the links to those videos in the description.

Along with that, you’ll also see a link to DreamBizChat.com if you are a business owner or an executive that is in the self-reliance field, meaning that you have products and services through your business that help people become more self reliant, go check out DreamBizChat.com link is in the description and a or you could type it in directly and get straight there.

Let me know what you think when you get there.

We’re going to talk about the undercover billionaire, the Undercover Billionaire TV show, if you haven’t got to see it, the first season just aired in late 2019.

It’s over on the Discovery Channel. Now, the whole concept of the show is that this person that is supposedly a billionaire or these close to it is setting all of his safeties and all of all the things that have made him a billionaire, setting them aside and moving forward with nothing more than a pickup truck, a cell phone without any contacts and a hundred dollar bill.

And he has to start and has 90 days to build a company from scratch up to million dollars. So how’s he go about doing this?

How does this all work?

Well, you’ve got to go and watch the show to really find out. It’s a very interesting show and there’s a lot of great concepts and I covered a lot of those in the lead up up till now.

The first nine videos. And there’s a lot within the show where he comes straight out and says, hey, this is the lesson here, this is a lesson there.

And goes through what he sees as some of the fine finer points that he’s displaying during the whole storyline during the documentary.

Now what I went and did is kind of pulled out some of the things that I don’t think he put as fine a point on that I or that I thought needed repeating at least.

This 10th one is one that you will not see there or probably behind the scenes or anywhere else. And although there has been some chat here and there and that’s what value did he have that he could not get rid of.

What are the things that were valuable that were never discussed but were extremely useful to what he’s done or what he was close to being able to do or what he achieved. I mean, you got to watch the show to see if he actually made it to a million and what did he have that made that possible?

That was could be slightly invisible to most people.

One of the main things he has is he has the confidence and you cannot throw away a person’s belief in whether they can do something or not.

Now a person will tell you that has made it somewhere.

They said, well, I believed before I made it happen, before I was able to become a millionaire or billionaire, I believed it was possible and I absolutely agree with them.

I know that they believed it, but the toughest thing for most people to be able to achieve any type of financial success is a lack of belief. There’s always a piece there that they just don’t fully believe that they can do it or that they’re in the right situation or that the powers that be aren’t going to get in their way.

He already had that belief.

He had that confidence from his previous experience.

That’s not something he could just take out and set aside. He had it. He knew it was possible. He knew that he can go about doing this.

Without the deadline, there’s no doubt in my mind and anyone that watches it can see that he’d be able to do what he needed to do. It may have taken longer if he didn’t have a deadline and if he didn’t have some of these things, that he couldn’t set aside.

So one of the things he could not set aside was when it came to legal purchases, there’s no way he’d be able to use a fake name like he was using most of the time he was using a different last name.

He was basically using his middle name, his last name, and he can’t do that when he went about and bought a house and quite possibly, he probably didn’t get away with that when he was renting an apartment.

More than likely they’d want to see some ID and so forth. So none of that’s possible.

He had to use his real name in those situations, that just legally and every other way he had to do that. And when purchasing a house, especially since he did not have a full time job, he didn’t have any form of assets other than some hard cash that he had developed during the show.

He had really no backing to be able to get a good deal on a loan for his house. The only way he could have done that was by being who he was and having his background.

Now that doesn’t take away the idea that it’s possible that a person can’t go and jump from trading cars to eventually trading houses and, or flipping houses or anything like that.

That’s absolutely possible.

But it would take you a little longer.

It may require you to have a full time job or to build up enough capital to be able to get that type of alone.

Otherwise you wouldn’t be able to do something like that. And they kind of glossed that over and that’s kind of necessary for the sake of the TV show.

So he had confidence that he couldn’t ever set aside.

It’s something that’s very valuable and that’s something that you can create yourself. He had financial backing, credit and so forth that he couldn’t set aside and to be able to purchase a home with a lone.

He had that ability that not everyone would be able to do right off the bat, okay.

So those pieces aside, there’s a third thing that he had that is extremely powerful that all you had to do was kind of step back and say, wait a second…..

He had media presence, the entire time that we’re watching him.

We know because we wouldn’t to be able to watch them.

If there wasn’t someone with a camera and the way it was filmed, you know, there were multiple cameras and in some parts of the show they’ve pulled back and even showed that on top of there being cameras, there was a producer or director or someone hanging out and making sure that the camera people were doing the right thing.

So he had a crew following him around.

Now how they built that into the stories, he told people that he was working on documentary, but that’s powerful.

That form of media draws attention.

That form of media could possibly have cause people to do something for free that they wouldn’t normally do because they’re in the public eye and they know that this is, this might be going somewhere.

This is a documentary.

That means I’m going to be in a movie, I’m going to be on TV, I’m going to be out there.

And that could be useful to me.

Everyone around him saw that they couldn’t get around it. Whether he was working in the homeless shelter on the first episode or, excuse me, not a homeless shelter. It’s was a soup kitchen.

Or whether he was gathering people to help out or whether he was going to the small business agency, all these things.

Everyone is going to treat you differently when you’ve got cameras around you.

Now, how could you use this?

How could you use these things?

Well, number one, you have to keep an eye on your own belief system and your own confidence level. You have to think about what it’s gonna take to develop your belief and confidence so that you can have as close to the confidence of a billionaire before you set out to go and do something, even if it’s not going out to create $1 million company.

Number two, realize that it’s going to take time to build up those things that he already had going.

It took him years to build up his credit lines and everything else to be able to do the things that he’s able to do pretty simply and pretty quickly on this show.

And number three, MEDIA is something you can develop. Look at what I’m doing right here.

This is media.

I can introduce people onto this show, which we haven’t done a whole lot yet because we’ve been doing them live.

But in the future I’d like to have interviews.

I like to have other people on the show. If you’d like to be on the show, let me know. But we’d like to have other people on the show who, who’s going to turn that down.

If they have any message that they’re trying to get out, any business that they’re trying to promote, then media is your friend.

You’re going to want to be around it and so and nowadays we have the ability to create our own media.

We can do it with our cell phones.

We could have a podcast, we could do anything we want because of the internet.

It’s making it wide open.

You can have people walk around with cameras, whether they’re running or not, and say that you’re filming a documentary, you’re going to get a reaction similar to the ones that he got.

So just keep these things in mind just because they are advantages that he had doesn’t take away from the points.

The very clear cut points and principles that are laid out throughout the show.

Highly recommend it can’t say enough about Undercover Billionaire. Go and watch that show and go and check out all the other videos we got over at BrianJPombo.com and come back again.

We’re doing this thing every day where we get together and have a little chat. Hey, you have a great night. In the meantime, get out there and let the magic happen.

Undercover Billionaire secret lessons number nine.

Hi, I’m Brian Pombo welcome back to Brian J. Pombo Live. Today we’re going to be dealing with the secret lesson number nine from the TV show Undercover Billionaire, which played late last year over on the Discovery Channel.

You can find out more about that show by looking it up separately or you can watch some of the earlier episodes here of our secret lessons. We’ve already done one through eight.

This is number nine and I think we’re going to stop on number 10 because I got a very special thing that really was not mentioned, which is the hidden attributes that he could not get rid of, within the last, well, within the whole series of Undercover Billionaire.

He had to have a few hidden attributes that you could not do without, but were so valuable to the overall storyline and were never mentioned during the show.

We’re going to talk about that tomorrow, so be sure and come back for that one.

But today I’m going to deal with number nine, which has to do with that human capital concept that we talked about earlier in the earlier episodes.

Now there’s a secret that he mentions in the later episodes, I believe it’s around episode six or seven when he came across a particular person that joined the team and he said, we’re going to find a place for this person on our team. And he said, when you find somebody that has real talent that has real value you, it doesn’t matter if you have a position for them, you need to find a position for them.

You need to make up a position if necessary to include them in your team, to bring them along on your journey. And this was something that occurred in the storyline.

So you’ve got to go watch the show to see what I’m talking about. But it occurred and it made really clear to me that there were these handful of people that I had over on the back burner that I’ve always checked in with here and there, but it’s about 10 people in my life that I have that are just special people.

They’re just fabulous people and I want to do something with them.

It doesn’t mean I want to hire them as an employee or I want them as a business partner or anything of that sort, but there’s some place that I need them. Eventually we’re going to work together.

I just have a feeling and it’s just when I’m around them, I feel energized.

They have a good spirit about them, at least on the outside. Maybe after I get to know them better, you start to see the faults and all the warts, like they say, but I have these people in my life that I know that eventually we’re going to work together.

So I tried to touch base with them over and over again. If you’re one of those that’s watching, you know you’re one of those people that I won’t let go of and I’ll always check in with you and I’ve got a lot of people that I always check in with, but there’s a handful of people business wise, I’ve always gotten the back of my mind.

These are people that I’m going to find a spot for eventually as I move ahead and I want you to keep your eyes out for the same thing.

If you don’t already know those type of people, those people that you connect with that have real value, they bring value to the table.

Oftentimes they have a work ethic that’s just automatic. You can just see that they work a little differently. They have a little bit of a different flair than most other people do and these are the people that you’ve got to make sure you write them down.

Make a list of these people.

Don’t forget about them because it’s real easy as you go through your weeks and months and everything else to kind of fall away from your past and forget about some of these real special people that you probably eventually are going to need around you in some way or form.

And nowadays with online communication, I know most of the communication that I do with people long distance, either with clients and so forth. I do through a zoom app, I’m not sure if you’ve seen zoom, it says zoom.us.

It’s probably one of the best formats that I’ve seen that works across whether you use a Mac, whether you’re using a cell phone, whether you’re using a PC.

Whatever the format you’re able to communicate with someone very clearly and pretty simply, you could find out more. It’s a free app, over at zoom.us.

They have a paid version too, which is one of the things that I use because I use it so often, but it’s highly valuable.

Definitely something if you haven’t used it, it’s really more of a modern day, probably one of the better versions of something like Skype.

So when you have something like that, you have the ability to communicate and connect with people at long distances, anywhere around the world.

You can connect with them when you have things like this in ways that telephones have always been been around for a long time and you know, you’ve always had that ability.

But having to get that face to face is so powerful and having real high quality video like we have available to us nowadays is really useful. So don’t lose track of people.

Don’t hesitate to set up times to reconnect with people regardless of where they are and find a way to include them in your team, if not now in the future.

Don’t lose track of those people with high talent.

If you’re anything like me, you’re around enough people to know that the really good ones are tough to come by.

Everybody’s got their own thing. Everybody’s got their own value.

I’m not saying they don’t, but the ones that connect the most with you are going to be rare. So don’t lose track of them.

Why do I do these videos?

I do these videos on a daily basis talking about business concepts, talking about something, either a theory or something more specific and tactical that can help your business. And we do these on a daily basis.

I do these one to be able to get these ideas out there, to kind of generate them and for myself, to be able to actually help some people who may not get the help otherwise or be in contact with somebody that they really feel they connect with.

And one of the three main reasons is so that I can get my message out there.

So if you’d like to find out more about what I do, go to BrianJPombo.com I’m a business strategist. I help businesses go to the next level and I do it from long distance.

I’ve got private clients and so forth that I work with. And you can find out more at BrianJPombo.com if you happen to be in the self reliance field, meaning you’ve got products and services that help people to become more self reliant and you’re a decision maker at the company, meaning you’re the owner or you’re an executive or something of that sort, go to DreamBizChat.com.

That link is directly in the description wherever you’re watching or listening to this DreamBizChat.com. There’s a quick video there that could be very helpful to you and if you think that I’d be able to help you out with the concept that I’m talking about.

There an application you can fill out right there at DreamBizChat.com.

So hopefully you have a great night. Come on back again tomorrow for the last and final secret lesson of the Undercover Billionaire and we will come back here, go through it again with like I said, a very special one tomorrow, something you won’t find anywhere else.

The discussion that I’ve had with other people about this, the same storyline, it’s pretty good stuff.

Hey, you have a great night. In the meantime, get out there and let the magic happen.

Undercover Billionaire lesson number eight.

Hi, I’m Brian Pobo welcome back to Brian J. Pombo Live.

I’m going to cover the secret lesson number eight that I learned from watching Undercover Billionaire of the TV show from Discovery Channel.

You can find all the other lessons that we’ve discussed up until this point, I’ll have them linked down below so you could watch those other ones.

So you can also find the rest on BrianJPombo.com and all of this is brought to you by DreamBizChat.com. If you’re a business owner or executive that’s looking to take your business to the next level, go check out DreamBizChat.com. The link is in the description as well.

Hey, let’s talk about a very specific lesson that is encapsulated in the concept of Undercover Billionaire itself. And what it is is he gave himself 90 days to achieve basically to build something up to the value of $1 million.

So what he’s doing, he’s building a business to a million dollar business within a 90 day period.

And what is that? What happens when you, when you say something that’s specific and you put a date on it, you put a specific date and time on it. It’s a goal.

That’s the definition of a goal and that very solid goal setting concept drives the entire show and it drives everything behind what Glenn Stearns is trying to accomplish.

The real problem with it is that he can’t bring the rest of them in on why he needs to have it done in 90 days.

Why does all this have to be accomplish?

Because he can’t say it. He can’t bring more people in fully into that goal and the reason behind the goal and the meaning behind it and so it loses a little bit of an effect there but you can see all the time that is his main focus and so he doesn’t let the little things and all the stuff that falls apart throughout the entire series.

He doesn’t let any of those things get in the way because his main focus is hitting that 90 day goal, hitting that the value number of $1 million and getting to that specific goal with that business in the 90 day period.

That’s powerful.

This is why you really need to have a day and a specific goal that you’re trying to accomplish. It doesn’t necessarily need to be a a value, it doesn’t need to be a dollar amount, but it doesn’t need to be that type of specific.

I would recommend having something that has a numerical value because it’s very black and white. It’s clear cut.

It’s not something that you could kind of go, well maybe you made it, maybe you didn’t make it. You don’t want it to be like that. It’s gotta be clear. If it’s clear, then you know whether you made it or not.

If you didn’t make it, you’ll know by how much you’ll know where to reset the goal from that this is a very specifically a business concept that it’s irreplaceable.

You can’t get a whole lot of people on a team together if there isn’t a very clear understanding of where the finish line is, where we’re starting from, where the finish line is and how long do we have to get there.

Simple concept.

We’ve talked about it a lot on this channel and and our daily discussions.

Hey, come on back again for another talk because I’ve got a few more ideas.

We’re talking Undercover Billionaire and then beyond that we’re going to talk about all types of things, both principles, strategies, and tactics that will help you build your business faster, stronger, and do it in a better way.

Do it in a more meaningful way to you and make it all worthwhile. So hopefully that’s helpful today.

Hey, in the meantime, we’re going to see you back here next time, but in the meantime, you have a great night and get out there and let the magic happen.

Undercover Billionaire secret number seven. The secret lessons from Undercover Billionaire.

Hi, I’m Brian Pombo welcome back to Brian J. Pombo Live. We’ve been covering a series of lessons, secret lessons that things that I caught and people I know caught from the TV show Undercover Billionaire.

You can see the trailer running here in the background underneath me, you can watch it on video and we’re discussing some of the lessons up until this point.

I’ve come up with six. I have a seventh one for you right here. Now the whole idea behind Undercover Billionaire, if you want to find out more, you can go look it up. It’s on the Discovery Channel and it was a show that they had on this last year, late in 2019. You can go back, watch the whole series, I believe it’s eight or nine episodes long.

Go and watch it because really worth watching. You can find out more about the details by watching the other videos that I’ve done on this. But I want to get into point number seven because whether you’ve seen this or not, it’s a great point to keep in mind if you are a business owner, or if you’re managing a business, if you’re some sort of executive and you’re in charge of employees or some type of a working staff of some sort, there’s always a temptation to not only lead the pack but to micromanage.

What’s micromanaging?

Micromanaging is when you get right in it and you focus on all the details of how they’re performing as opposed to focusing on what the result is that you want them to achieve.

Now this is one of the things that Glenn Stearns does throughout the show is when he’s working with people, when he’s bringing people on board onto his team, he gives them something very specific to do.

He’s after a result. He doesn’t care as much how they do it. He doesn’t get a whole lot in the way into how it is accomplished.

He just wants to make sure that the result is accomplished when it isn’t accomplished.

He ends up with excuses and everything else that we talked about before. You’ve got to really stay away from making excuses because that could, that could just cause as long-term trouble in it.

It just gives off the victim hood mentality and that’s one of the things that when he starts butting heads with people, it has usually has to do with that. It’s usually someone making an excuse for the fact that they could not provide a single, a specific result.

Focus on that.

If you’ve got employees, if you’ve got people that you’re working with, don’t micromanage them, don’t get into the nitty gritty of how they do everything.

Focus on their result.

Are they achieving the result or aren’t they achieving the result?

You might be able to help them out on certain specifics, especially if it’s a job that you’ve performed before or have some knowledge of. Try not to get the details of trying to micromanage every little detail.

It drives people nuts and you never have somebody that can help you in the long run. If you’re focused on all the details of what they’re doing versus the result, the end result that you’re hiring them to achieve.

If you can let them come about it on their own and find the the way to the result on their own, they may find a way that you haven’t thought of and it builds confidence in what they’re doing, confidence in where they’re going with it.

It just adds to an overall belief that works across the board, especially if you’re working with someone long-term.

So it’s something to keep in mind, whether they’re a partner or whether they’re an employee.

If you’re working with people, try to focus on results versus micromanaging the details, all the little tactics that they’re involved in. So just a quick lesson.

We’re going to keep going through a few more of these. I’ve got a handful more that I’d like to cover with you before we move onto a different topic.

But we’re every day come on back.

You can check out earlier videos on BrianJPombo.com. You can also, if you are a business owner or an executive in the self-reliance field, meaning you’ve got products and services that help people to become more self reliant.

I’m going to encourage you to go to DreamBizChat.com.

DreamBizChat.com. Go and watch the video there. I’d love to hear what you think the link is in the description and just come back here tomorrow.

In the meantime, just have a great night and get out there and let the magic happen.

Undercover Billionaire secrets number six.

Hi, I’m Brian Pombo welcome back to Brian J. Pombo Live. Tonight, another handheld classic coming from the car.

Believe it or not, I’ve found myself in a hotel tonight of all places.

Why you may ask?

Well, it turns out that we woke up this morning to snow on the ground, which we haven’t had hardly at all season. In fact, the only time it happened when we were out of town and it dried up pretty quick this time. It happened all at once.

Huge snow storm hits Southern Oregon. I’m in Grants Pass, Oregon and we ended up with the power being out all day long, all into the night. It’s a new new place that we moved into.

Those of you who have been paying attention and we don’t have secondary heating quite set up yet. We’ve got electric heating and that’s about it.

So we don’t have a wood stove or anything of that sort. A lot of the preparations that I’ve been meaning to put into the place have not been put in yet. And so it just was not stable to have the whole family hanging out in this house, with the power out.

So I said, okay, up we go. And we’ve decided to hang out in a hotel tonight.

So everyone’s upstairs sleeping after a long day. And I am down here talking with you and I’m glad to be here because we have to cover the Undercover Billionaire secret lesson number six.

If you haven’t seen the other lessons, be sure and go back and watch the other ones. I’ll have some links down below, but also, you can find more over at BrianJPombo.com not only these, but other video lessons that we’ve gone through.

So today, this is all has to do with the Undercover Billionaire, which is a series on the Discovery Channel. Make sure you go out and watch that.

This isn’t gonna ruin any of it for you. Here’s one of the messages that I got from it, and it’s very apropos to what’s going on today. And that is that you have to have emotional stability to be able to handle what’s coming up against you.

To be able to handle people who are losing their minds, to be able to handle horrible situations. You have to be able to be stable. You have to keep your head.

I always loved the Rudyard Kipling’s poem if go and check that out. You got to Google that one. That’s a great one.

When everyone about you is losing their heads and blaming it on you, you know, that’s like the first line of it.

That’s really how life is that you have to be willing to keep your head when everyone else is losing theirs. And you can see that happening through the Undercover Billionaire when everyone else is kind of going crazy.

He has to remain stable.

Even if he has short little periods where he loses it for a moment, he has to come back to a center and be the center, the eye of the storm.

If you’re going to be a leader in anything, but especially in any form of business venture, you have to be the one that keeps it stable.

In my family, I tend to be the one that keeps it stable. So my whole family’s going bonkers dealing with a different situation. Like tonight I gotta be the one that says, okay, I don’t always know the right thing to do.

I don’t always know the best thing to do, but I can at least hold still and take it one step at a time and you gotta be that way with your business. So good thing.

Go check out the Rudyard Kipling poem, I don’t even know how to say his first name. I always say it wrong. Rudyard Kipling, go check out that poem.

If it’s a fabulous poem, one of my favorites, and go check out Undercover Billionaire.

We’re going to be going over some other secret lessons from the show, uh, as we keep going along. I keep building kind of a larger list as I talked to other people who have seen it.

I love some of the points, the major points that even aren’t even fully brought up through the show. They’re on full display throughout that first season. Go and check that out.

Undercover Billionaire secret lessons number five.

Hi, I’m Brian Pombo welcome back to Brian J. Pombo Live coming to you at the very last minutes of this fabulous Wednesday.

Wednesdays always tend to throw me off. For those of you who are regular watchers, it’s the days I’m watching my children at home and my whole days get thrown off. I think last Wednesday I missed, and we do this thing daily, So that’s a no, no.

I wanted to make sure I got in just in the nick of time to cover the Undercover Billionaire secret lesson number five and what these are. These are lessons that I got out of watching the Undercover Billionaire.

Now normally these are a little less shaky and everything else, but I didn’t have enough time to set up my whole prep and I just wanted to come into you nice and raw and talk about the meaning of a cause because it’s very prevalent throughout the show.

One of the greatest tools that Glenn Stearns wields is the real meaning of a cause. And what he got was the heart of this town. Of Erie, Pennsylvania and really focused in on what they’re all about, about being an underdog, about coming up from the bottom, at onetime being a really hardcore growing city, dropping as their industries plummeted, and then coming back from the grave like a Phoenix.

It’s really inspiring, but it’s more inspiring for the people that lived in that town.

When that became part of the story that he was recounting with all the people he asked to come along, none of them getting paid right away. Okay. He wasn’t paying anybody. They all came along with either the promise of pay, the promise of being part of a great cause.

Never underestimate the power of a meaningful cause, the power of something that’s beyond ourselves, that we can be a part of something bigger than ourselves that we can join in with.

People love that and you’ll always get the right type of people with the right type of cause.

That’s a great lesson and something that you could see that becomes stronger and stronger and stronger throughout the Undercover Billionaire series.

Hey, if you haven’t seen the Undercover Billionaire series, I recommend you go out and check it out. It’s all done. The first season’s all done.

I don’t know if they’re going to have a another season, but the first full season is a whole documentary style story, done at the Discovery Channel. So go check it out.

Also, if you love talking about these types of experiences, talking about how to build business, how to stand out in the crowd, regardless of whatever your cause is, whatever you’re trying to get other people involved in, then make sure you subscribe and check out all my other videos, wherever you’re watching this.

Or you can always check out one’s going all the way back to May of 2019 over at BrianJPombo.com.

If you are a business owner or an executive that’s an a self-reliance field, your cause is dear to my heart. So I’d love to be able to talk with you.

Normally I charge $600 and above to be able to talk with people. But if you’d like to talk with me specifically about your business, go and check out DreamBizChat.com and you can apply to get a free chat with me, DreamBizChat.com.

I would you talk about your business and talk about a very specific plan for you to take your business from where it is to where you want it to be in terms of being your dream business and in the amount of time you want to get it there as much as is reasonable.

So go check that out. DreamBizChat.com, the link is in the description.

Undercover Billionaire Secret Lesson #4

Lesson #1 – http://brianjpombo1.freedomfind.us/undercover-billionaire-secret-lesson-1/

Lesson #2 – http://brianjpombo1.freedomfind.us/undercover-billionaire-secret-lesson-2/

Lesson #3 – http://brianjpombo1.freedomfind.us/undercover-billionaire-secret-lesson-3/

Undercover Billionaire secret lessons number four.

I’m Brian Pombo welcome back to Brian J. Pombo Live.

We’ve been covering some of the secret lessons that I’ve learned by watching the entire first season of Undercover Billionaire from the Discovery Channel. You can go and check out those first three lessons earlier on. I’ll have the links down below and I wanted to kind of go into a fourth lesson here today.

But first I wanted to be sure and plug the website, DreamBizChat.com specifically, it’s for business owners and executives in the self-reliance field.

So if you happen to have products and services that help people become more self reliant, I’d be really interested, interested to hear what you think about the video I have over at DreamBizChat.com. Go check it out. The link is in the description.

Now, I also wanted to chat with you a little bit here about Undercover Billionaire.

If you want to find out the premise of the show and everything else, go back and watch the old episodes or go look it up yourself. You can find old recordings of the show.

I never saw it when it was actually on the air.

I saw it many months later after the final episode. But it’s definitely worth seeing. Now, the fourth concept that was very prevalent throughout this entire thing is the unexpected things happening so much. Like, say Murphy’s Law, that whole idea that if something bad can happen, it will happen.

It’s the idea of things that you just don’t know going in. You could plan everything as perfectly as you want to. And it’s something that I encourage people to do is do as much planning as possible, but you have to also plan for the unknown known’s and the unknown unknown’s as….oh, who was it?

They used to talk about that all the time. Rumsfeld, Donald Rumsfeld talked about how, you’ve got your known known’s, you’ve got your unknown known’s, you’ve got your known unknown’s and your unknown unknown’s.

It’s the known unknown’s and the unknown unknown’s that you really gotta be careful of.

There’s always going to be stuff that you can’t possibly even predict that you don’t know about yet until you come across it. There’s always going to be those things that you can predict that we don’t know about this and we don’t know about that and we don’t know about that.

The the known unknown’s that you can plan a little bit for, but you just don’t know the details until you get there. So until you’re faced with it, you don’t know that all the obstacles you’re going to come up against.

You could see this in this travel of 90 days where he goes from nothing to building $1 million business within 90 days. He comes across it over and over and over again.

Things he could not have possibly predicted, things that he didn’t necessarily have the expertise to even watch for. And these things pop up out of nowhere and ended up causing trouble.

But he’s able to keep a cool head because he can see these things. He knows these things are going to happen.

They’re bound to happen eventually.

If you know going in that if you’ve got a clear idea of the direction you’re going in, you have to always expect these things and not be thrown off when they pop up out of the ground or fall out of the sky into your lap. So it’s a quick idea.

It’s common throughout the whole thing and it’s only briefly touched upon, but it’s definitely clear. It’s one of those secret lessons that you can learn by watching this show and also make sure you apply back to your business journey as you’re going along.

So hopefully that’s helpful to you. You can always find out more by going out and watching that show. Like I said, you can find it on YouTube, on iTunes. There’s a couple of places out there.

Also, it’s probably on demand if you have access to the Discovery Channel on demand. So you’ve got those things.

If you want to see any of the old videos, I put out these videos on a daily basis if you want to see any of our old discussions that go and check them out.

Also keep your eyes open for the next ones, because we’ve got some more secret lessons from the Undercover Billionaire coming up over the next few days, so stay tuned.

Oh, you can find out more of the old videos over at BrianJPombo.com and I’ll be back here tomorrow. In the meantime, get out there and let the magic happen.

Undercover Billionaire Secret Lesson #3

http://DreamBizChat.com

Lesson #1 – http://brianjpombo1.freedomfind.us/undercover-billionaire-secret-lesson-1/

Lesson #2 – http://brianjpombo1.freedomfind.us/undercover-billionaire-secret-lesson-2/

Undercover Billionaire lesson number three.

Hi, I’m Brian Pombo welcome back to Brian J. Pombo Live and today I wasn’t quite sure if I was gonna make it here.

I’m quite tired. I’ve had a long day and it’s been one of these things where I wasn’t sure if I was going to make it, but it brings up a great point about what I think the third lesson is from the Undercover Billionaire series and this is a series that’s off of the Discovery Channel.

If you haven’t heard about it, go back and watch my other two videos on it.

There’s no spoilers regarding it, but I definitely recommend going and seeing this TV show called Undercover Billionaire. I’m going to talk about the lessons that I got out of the show that I think are real standout that aren’t necessarily outright in your face.

One of the main lessons that I got, out of all the different ones that I did get off of it was don’t make excuses.

So I could’ve very easily thrown in the towel and made an excuse and not made a video today.

I’ve been pretty consistent with doing these on a daily basis. In fact, this is the 250th episode of Brian J. Pombo Live as much in the row as we possibly could.

I think I may have missed four different episodes, but we’re going to make sure we make those up before the end of the year.

We’re gonna go all the way to 365. And in the meantime, we’re not gonna make any excuses. Now, the real issue that you see over and over again is the communication that he’s had with the people that he works with on this show.

We’re talking about the Glenn Bryant character, or Glenn Stearns in real life. He’s working with a whole bunch of people who are basically his employees, even though they’re not getting paid it at the at the time.

They’re all coming in on a voluntary basis with the idea they’ll eventually have something out of it, but no promises on what they’re actually going to get.

The whole time he’s dealing with different situations where people may not be handling their jobs as well as they could be. And the one thing he always goes back to is he’s watching for people who aren’t making any excuses for their issues.

He had people that were relatively new to working on their own and had a little bit of kickback from them because they weren’t really pulling their weight.

Then he also had people that had worked on their own, and this is later on in the series, he’s deals with a particular person. I’m not going to ruin it for you, but they’re giving a whole lot. Every time he points out something they’re doing wrong, they’ve got an excuse as to why it couldn’t be done any better and why nobody else would be able to do it and why they were not open about the fact that they weren’t able to do it.

That’s really the main issue that you see here.

The main problems he has with people are people who just keep making excuses over why they’re not able to do it, as opposed to being direct and saying very clearly, I have a problem here. This isn’t my strong point. I need some help.

It’s a simple idea, but it’s a human flaw that all of us have come in contact with at some point. Mostly it’s in ourselves.

Mostly we find a point at which we’re making excuses.

The biggest thing you can do in business and in life is to stop making excuses. Don’t make an excuse.

Acknowledge the fault.

Wherever the fault lies, acknowledge that it’s there. You don’t need to necessarily even take the fault on yourself. It doesn’t need to be your fault, but it is your responsibility to get fixed.

Whoever you are, whatever you do, take responsibility for your place, whether it was your fault or not.

Take the responsibility, pick back up and go the next step and do what’s necessary that all the people that he ends up sticking with in the long run throughout the series and the people that end up working with them long-term and ended up getting a big check in the end are the people who aren’t making excuses.

They’re just doing what needs to get done.

It’s a good reminder for all of us and also a good reminder for the type of people you want to surround yourself with.

It’ll make the biggest difference in the long run, I guarantee.

So hopefully that’s helpful to you. If you’d like to be able to work directly with me and see if I can help you in your business on these, not just concepts of TV shows, but also real advice when it comes down to your specific situation.

Go to BrianJPombo.com and see the offerings there.

Also, if you’re in the self-reliance field and you’re looking for the same thing, you’re someone I’d really like to talk to and I have a special deal just for you. If you go to DreamBizChat.com, the link is in the description.

We’re going to be back here tomorrow with number four in the, uh, in Undercover Billionaire saga that we’re going through here talking about the secret lessons from Undercover Billionaire.

Come on back tomorrow.

Tomorrow we’re going to be trying something new if you happen to catch this in time, hopefully we will meet us over on LinkedIn.

We’re going to try a LinkedIn Live for a few episodes here and see if we’re able to do that and see how that works out. We’re testing out a few things.
