The secret to breaking through the comfort zone.

Hi I’m Brian Pombo, welcome back to Brian J. Pombo Live.

You getting a little bit of a handheld shaky flavor in this episode, because I am holding the phone in my hand. And I just got done doing some future episodes that you’ll get to see these will be cut up.

This is the interview process that I’ve been talking about doing. And I’m not going to reveal who I did it with. But it was a great gentleman and it’s going to be a lot of fun to take this and break it up into pieces for future episodes.

I think you’ll get a lot out of it. If you’ve gotten anything out of the videos we’ve done so far. If you haven’t, hopefully, you’ll get more out of this one. Because it’s not just me sitting around talking about me and my ideas.

This is somebody that I can really dig in and ask them what they think about things, which is really cool. So I’m really happy that that’s coming up.

But this didn’t come through on its own. This isn’t one of those things that just automatically happened, I had to break out of my comfort zone to do it.

Well, just like I did need to do with every podcast that we’ve started just like I need to do to be able to start doing these on a regular basis, which I never mentioned, we’re over 700 videos, okay.

Over 700 videos and audios out there all catalogued over at BrianJPombo.com or wherever you happen to be watching this.

But let’s get to the point, how do you break out of your comfort zone, what is one of the main secrets of breaking out of the comfort zone, I found one that works well for me, I don’t know if it’ll work for you. But across the board the people that I’ve known that have gotten really good at breaking out of their comfort zones, this is a crucial element.

And it’s one that I neglected for a long time. Because I tend to be kind of a do it yourselfer get out there, pound through it, knock your head against the wall type of guy. And this element is having some type of running mate, having a partner that helps out and keeps you on track, and helps push you to do the things that you know that you need to get done. So crucial. If you’ve got a team of people even better, if you’re a business owner that already has a team of people, kudos to you.

But make sure they know that they can get in your face about things and make sure that you get things done, you’ve got to give them that authority, you have to have people around you that aren’t scared of you that are willing to tell you what needs to happen and make sure that it happens on time and gets moving.

Otherwise, it’s just natural for most of us to stick to our comfort zones. It’s just natural. But you always have to have breaking out points every little point in time, you’ve got to have the ability to be able to break out a little bit if you got too much growth in a short period of time, you’re just talking about suffering.

If you’re if you’re looking to go beyond the suffering and just just have little tiny bits of suffering, just in order to be able to get your way through just being a little bit uncomfortable.

My way, the ways that I’ve always had the greatest amount of growth is when I had someone there with me, someone there to keep help keep me on track. My someone specifically that I’m discussing here on a professional level is Podcast Producer, Sean E. Douglas, who we talk about often he has been on the show a whole lot.

But hopefully in the future, we’ll get him on here. But he’s been a big piece of what makes all this happen behind the scenes. And I really appreciate him and in every business that I own in every element that needs to happen, there has to be other people to be able to take me that next step.

One thing I found it’s very difficult to do on my own, I usually have to whether I forget whether I’m too comfortable, whatever, there usually has to be something else there that makes it happen. So that’s a little tip for me to you.

Hopefully that’s helpful to you. Hey, if you haven’t got a copy of my free book, 9 Ways to Amazon-Proof Your Business it’s not a free book.

I mean, you can go and purchase it and it’s well worth the money. It’s well worth beyond the money if it’s if it’s a topic you’re interested in which is overcoming competitive forces.

You can go to Amazon.com or anywhere to get a copy of it but if you are interested in getting a copy right now, digital copy for free, go to AmazonProofBook.com I’ll be back here tomorrow. In the meantime, get out there, get uncomfortable and let the magic happen.
