Don’t stop the momentum.

Hi I’m Brian Pombo, welcome back to Brian J. Pombo Live.

Today, I’m still coming to you from California, this is our final night here in the Golden State, then heading back to two are the Beaver State of Oregon.

It’d be fun to get back home, had a great time visiting friends and family, you have all the stuff that goes along with that. But it’s funny how you get out of the groove of things, so to speak and in things kind of that things kind of have a way of getting away from you without you even noticing.

I want to talk today because I had one of my first meetings following Christmas was today, the Monday following Christmas, Christmas was on a Saturday this year. And and it’s it doesn’t feel like Monday because I’m not in those surroundings that I usually am on a Monday.

I get on to this meeting and I’m wondering how many people are actually going to show up for it as a number of business owners that are working together, kind of a mastermind type situation.

We even had a special guest onboard to be able to talk with us and everything. And so it was, it was really a cool deal. But one of the things that I wasn’t quite sure how it was going to end up.

In fact, I was still in the process of visiting somebody while I was on the meeting. So it was kind of an odd situation but after I was through it, I saw how many people got involved, which were a lot more than I figured on.

It was already after a long period of momentum or slowly building momentum. And it was one of those things where I wasn’t sure I really didn’t think that we should have held it.

I asked everybody whether they would were up for getting back together. And everyone said Yes, sir.

Okay, well, I went along with it, but I wasn’t quite sure if it was the best thing to do. But now I see I was wrong, it was absolutely the best thing to do. And the worst thing you can do is artificially try to stop momentum, especially if you’re dealing with groups of people. It’s a, it’s an easy thing to get stuck in is you think, well, we need a break. Or there’s no reason to no reason to force this or anything of that sort.

It’s really the wrong attitude to have, you really have to have the attitude of, hey, we’re in momentum, we’re going to keep going with momentum until momentum naturally Peters off, because it always does.

the nature of momentum, it will eventually slow down to artificially get in the way and try and slow it down as if that’s going to help anything. I haven’t seen it work up until now. I really haven’t.

Which is weird why I keep trying to do it. You know, I see other people try to do it also. Sorry for the shaky camera work. I’m trying to hold this camera while at the same time I’m used to using a tripod not used to doing this just with my hands.

So I just wanted to bring that up and just let you know that the holidays is that it seems like it’s such a natural time to slow things down.

But things are already moving fast and they’re beyond your control anyways, don’t artificially get in the way of them, allow them to have their own speed don’t get in the way of progress. It’s not worth it.

Allow things to keep moving and one thing I’ve done in years past is I have slowed things down and I didn’t know I was doing it I didn’t know that they could keep going. So I’m happy to be working with some solid people and you know who you are who help hold my feet to the fire and keep things going so if you’ve got people like that on your team be sure and wish them happy holidays and tell them to keep things moving, keep that momentum rolling there’s nothing quite like it.

Hopefully, that’s helpful I’m I have my book that’s still available for free, 9 Ways to Amazon-Proof Your Business you can get a free copy at AmazonProofBook.com
